Our vision

An embassy of Rio at Sugarloaf Mountain

Embaixada Carioca wants to introduce Rio's food culture to visitors who have little time in the city. On Urca Hill, the restaurant is part of the trip, not a stop disconnected from the itinerary.

In one place, visitors find what they look for in Rio: the view, Brazilian food, caipirinha, hospitality and a sense of place.

The restaurant

From breakfast to sunset

On Urca Hill since 2010, Embaixada Carioca serves à la carte breakfast, Brazilian lunch, snacks and drinks every day from 8:30 AM to 9:00 PM. It is the only restaurant in Bondinho Park with a direct view of Sugarloaf Mountain.

At lunch, the feijoada is from Academia da Cachaça, served through a formal partnership. In the late afternoon, caipirinhas and Heineken draft beer go with the sunset.
