Where to watch the sunset on Urca Hill?
At Embaixada Carioca, on Urca Hill, the first cable-car stop. It is the only restaurant in Bondinho Pão de Açúcar Park with a direct view of Sugarloaf Mountain, open every day until 9:00 PM.
Arrive about 1 hour before sunset, pick a table with a view and order a caipirinha, a draft beer or snacks to share. Before going down, check the time of the last cable car.

What time does Embaixada Carioca close?
It is open every day from 8:30 AM to 9:00 PM. Snacks and sandwiches are served until 8:30 PM.
When should I arrive to see the sunset?
About 1 hour before the day's sunset time, to watch the light change from blue sky to warm colours.
Is there live music?
On some days there is live music or a DJ. The schedule changes: check Instagram or ask the team before going up.
Do I need a cable-car ticket?
By cable car, yes: the park ticket is sold separately. Via the trail, when open, you can arrive without a cable-car ticket, but plan your way down before access closes.
How do I get back after sunset?
